Organization Purpose
BUCA provides students and alumni the opportunity to gain information and experience in workshops featuring subjects such
as licensure, AIDS awareness, narrative approaches, and many other cutting-edge topics. The group has served as an information
resource for students and alumni, providing members with a BUCA Newsletter, academic and professional information, workshop
topics, and articles containing relevant counseling information. All currently enrolled students or alumni from the Barry
University Counseling Program are invited to join and participate in this organization.
Our Mission
Our mission is to further promote the interests of our organization and our members to the community. We strive to make a
difference by educating the public and expanding our reach.
